My Story I Don't Teach Theory.
I Teach What I Lived.
Built from nothing. Broken and rebuilt. Now teaching others the system that changed everything.
From Card Table to 7 Figures
My name is Jason Ehlinger. I'm the CEO of Taika Translations, a veteran-owned multimillion-dollar professional translation and language services company. We built it from a card table in our living room — no investors, no trust fund, no safety net. Just two people figuring it out.
Before that, I served in the U.S. Air Force. The military gave me discipline, structure, and a deep understanding of what it means to operate under pressure. But when I transitioned into entrepreneurship, I quickly discovered that military-style command doesn't translate directly into business leadership.
I made painful mistakes. I had a team but no real leadership system. I was hustling constantly but getting nowhere fast. I was operating my business instead of leading it. That's when I went deep — into frameworks, systems, faith, and hard lessons.
What came out of that season was a leadership operating system that changed everything for me and for Taika. And now, I want to give it to you.
Money Was Always Part of the Mission
While building Taika, my wife and I were also on our own financial journey. We figured out how to save $100k on a military salary. We had the hard conversations about money in marriage. We built wealth from zero — methodically, intentionally, without shortcuts.
That's what the Vision Tribe Money YouTube channel is about. We share everything — budgeting, wealth building, financial mindset, money in relationships, and creating a life on your own terms. 777+ videos and counting.
Leadership and finance aren't separate topics in my world. They're two sides of the same coin: both require systems, discipline, intentionality, and a clear mission.
Faith, Family, and Why It All Matters
I'm a husband and a father of 8. Leadership starts at home before it starts in the boardroom. My faith is central to everything I do — at Taika, we operate with a Christ-centered commitment to quality and integrity.
I believe your toughest season can become your greatest blessing. I believe security is an illusion — and that's actually freeing. I believe the reason you work determines everything about how you work. These aren't bumper sticker slogans. They're convictions I've earned.
